Dr. Richard Cuello has over 20 years’ experience practicing in Internal Medicine. He is a Chief Medical Director of Alma Medical Group and maintains attending physician privileges at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, FL. Dr. Cuello earned his degree in Internal Medicine at University of Massachusetts Memorial Healthcare in Worcester, MA. Dr. Cuello is certified in Basic Life Support, and Advance Cardiac Life Support. His passions include helping and educating the community to obtain better healthcare and exchange ideas with Health Systems to improve the delivery of care to our patients.
Dr. Alicia Rodriguez-Jorge has over 20 years’ experience practicing internal medicine. She is a Chief Medical Director of Alma Medical Group and maintains attending physician privileges at Mercy Hospital in Miami, FL. Dr. Rodriguez-Jorge earned her Internal Medicine degree from the at University of Massachusetts Memorial Healthcare in Worcester.
She is the past recipient of the Patients Choice Award and Compassionate Doctor Recognition for several years.
Dr. Francisco Armas is originally from Miami, FL. He went to college at Florida International University, where he completed his pre-med studies. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad de Ciencias Medicas in Costa Rica and completed his residency training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL. Dr. Armas has a particular interest in Nutrition and Fitness. In addition to Internal Medicine, Dr. Armas has significant interest in teaching. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and he maintains his health by eating a well-balanced diet and exercising regularly.
Dr. Angel Rosete is originally from New Jersey but grew up in Miami. He attended Universidad de Ciencias Medica in Costa Rica, where he obtained both his bachelor’s degree in biology and his medical degree. He completed his residency training in family medicine at Westchester General Hospital in Miami, Florida. During his spare time, Dr. Rosete enjoys spending time with his children, playing sports and watching movies. Dr. Rosete is a strong believer in community involvement and has volunteered with organizations that focus on improving the health and living conditions of elderly patients and underserved communities.
Dr. Ana Armas is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Specialist. She is originally from San Jose, Costa Rica. She earned her medical degree from the Universidad de Ciencias Medicas de Centroamerica in Costa Rica and completed her residency training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL. Dr. Armas enjoys practicing medicine and is uniquely able to bond with her patients and positively affect their health outcomes. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and being in nature.

Please bring all insurance information, including insurance cards, when you come to your appointment. We also recommend you contact your health plan to determine if Alma Medial Group physicians are included on the provider list.
Absolutely! Alma Medical Group values the health and well-being of the community and offers competitive prices on all our services so that you may get the preventive treatment you need in a timely manner. Our team can also help you explore insurance options that may be available to you.
Based on our availability and in the case of an emergency, we may be able to schedule same-day appointments for patients requiring immediate care. Please call us at the first sign of any symptom to ensure adequate and timely care.
As your primary care physician and caretaker, we prefer you come and see your primary care physician before seeing a specialist. Your physician will determine whether you need to be seen by a specialist due to your medical condition. If you need a referral or authorization, your doctor will coordinate with our internal referral staff members, based on your health plan requirements.
